Erika & Josh | Garden Party Wedding at Machine Shop

Erika and Josh’s garden party inspired Machine Shop wedding was so dreamy. The spring color palette felt sweet and sophisticated, and I used this inspiration for their wedding invitation suite and signage. I simply love that color is back on trend for weddings! The palette for this day was modern, yet still timeless.

This wedding day was the perfect culmination of a Minnesota wedding vendor dream team! Everyone truly brought their garden party vision to life. The florals and styling by Ashley Fox Designs and Style-Architects Weddings totally transformed the Machine Shop in Minneapolis! This venue is typically an industrial blank slate. The juxtaposition of the natural floral elements with the industrial features made for a beautiful, unique design. I especially loved the ceremony setup with hanging florals, greenery and lanterns to complement the venue’s lofted ceilings.

As usual, Marit Williams captured everything perfectly with her amazing photography eye. I love her hybrid use of film and digital photography. Her style perfectly captured the modern, yet timeless elegance of Erika and Josh’s big day.
